60, 30, 15 second versions and stems guidance

Post by jesseh » Thu Mar 30, 2023 10:06 pm

Hi,
I have just finished a 2 minute cue and the listing says to have 60, 30 and 15 second versions ready along with stems. What should I be providing with these, should they all have the same or similar big ending (or whatever ending is there) and massage what precedes it so that it has the appropriate length? Is there any sort of guideline or best practice for these 'shorts'? And what about stems? Particularly for something like an investigative tension cue - what sort of stems are desired - one without the melody, one without the drums, drums only, that sort of thing?
Thanks in advance for your help!
