Hi there.
I've gotten a few placements through Taxi, though not many. I seem to miss the mark quite a bit.
I'd like to find someone to work with to improve the quality of the works. I do mainly instrumentals and ambient pieces.
I feel I have some good basic ideas, they just need to be fleshed out and polished and, of course, find the right listing.
I'd be very happy to hear from you if you're interested.
Thanks for your time.

Re: In desperate need of a collaborator.
Hey Ole
First, congrats for your placements! Look at it like this: If you have some, you are doing something right, because you first have cleared the TAXI screener, then the library, who took your track on, and then you had a music supervisor pick your track and put it into a TV show or a film. So, at least three places were convinced that your tracks were good for TV!
Since instrumentals (especially ambient ones or drones) are much easier to produce than actual songs, it might prove more difficult to find someone for collabs, because most people might feel that they can do that on their own and do not gain so much from collaborations. This might be different if you bring something to the plate like excellent piano or guitar skills.
In any case, why not post your tracks that you want to improve in the peer-to-peer section of this forum? I am sure you will get a lot helpful feedback.

Re: In desperate need of a collaborator.
Thank you for those words of encouragement. I didn't even think of all the hurdles a track has to go through before it's successful.
I agree with your points, but I'd rather have a 50 split than leave a perfectly viable idea to gather dust. Because once a track has been returned I just don't know what to do with it.
Yes, I get valuable feedback, but I'm still kind of stuck. I thought I understood what the listing asked for, but alas... No.
My skills are limited, and I have a lot to learn, my hope is to meet someone who'll be interested in working with me on a few tracks to try and lift them out of mediocrity.
I've worked with someone on here before, and it was great. Though it's many years ago and I kind of forgot about the forums.
I'll check the Peer-To-Peer section as you suggested.
Again, thanks.

Re: In desperate need of a collaborator.
Hi- I can write melodies and lyrics to instrumental pieces. I can record my own vocals but dont always, not when a woman collaborator of mine writes the lyrics usually
Melodies are easier than lyrics but lyrics simply take me a long time.
Also want collaborators for shared works.
