Post by mmarko8 » Wed May 31, 2023 7:05 am

Hi all-sorry for a basic newcomer question: I am struggling to convert audio files to video files to post on youtube and have tried several online programs with no success. Was looking for suggestions of file converting programs techiniques.

If I understand correctly you want to post videos of your music with no video?
One of the easiest technique is to take a still picture, and on a video editing software or app, simply add the picture and your track and export the timeline to a movie file. Than upload it to youtube (Maybe you could do that in the youtube studio, I'm not sure)

There are some free visualisers you can use ( animated images that react to the beat of the music ) , just search Google and you will find some.

I love doing that. I use "Story blocks". I do that for all my songs they have great clips. You can use stills or videos and with your MP3 you can create movies. When you're done creating the video they give you a link to upload to YouTube. This is the first song I ever wrote and I used story blocks to create a little movie for it.
PS I thought the song came good and the movie unfortunately I get kind of mixed reviews from the screeners LOL. So far haven't been able to place it anywhere. Quite frankly I can't even figure out what the genre is. That could probably be a good reason for my failure to place it. Keep trying anyway.

It's got that Southern/Heartland Rock type vibe to me , I think the song is really well performed and produced ( did you do this or is it the work of a demo studio ? ) but I think the main thing that would put it out the of running for being used is the overt religious imagaery that runs throughout your lyrics. That puts it straight into a very tiny niche compared to a more general lyric which would be able to be used in many different scenarios.

Demo studio. And I think you're right about the lyrics. Probably have to find an artist not afraid of lightning. LOL

They did a good job, If it were me I'd do a re-write on the lyrics to make them more universal and ask how much to recut them
