Is Dispatch worth the extra cost?

Not sure if I mentioned this. First, contact Taxi and get on the Taxi Dispatch e-mail list. Watch the listings for a while and see how your music might fit. You can wait until you see one you want to submit for and join then and since the fee is pro-rated by where you are in your membership year, you will pay less (at least that first year).

I must say that I've been mystified as to why some listings are classed as Dispatch, especially when in some cases they don't attract enough submissions, so the listing is repeated as a normal listing. To me that makes a mockery of the whole thing, and I'd feel miffed if I'd paid the extra only to find I didn't need to.

On the other hand, if you submitted on Dispatch and got rejected, the repeat listing could give you a chance to incorporate the screener's suggestions into a new version and try again!
