Re: Tunesat
Tunesat looks for sonic matches to the files you upload to it. When it finds one it can tell you the channel, show, time and length but it doesn't know the name or file type of what it finds, just that it sounds the same. Therefore, it displays the name of the file that you uploaded to Tunesat, and I'm guessing that in this case it was an mp3 version called "crunchy picklesMP3". The match that it detected could have been any of the usual file types and formats. Some TV editors work with mp3 files but that should make no difference to any royalties that you or the library are entitled to.

Re: Tunesat
did you give uk lib an mp3 and asking if its ok they used it, or are you wondering why mp3 was detected by tunesat (chances are you uploaded that)?

Re: Tunesat
I'm assuming you mean the library only got an mp3 from you and not a hi res wav or aif. A few libs will use 320K mp3 which sound very close to the same as the hi res files (Many ears including mine can't tell the difference). And even if it was a lower res mp3, it was placed and that's all that matters. As others said, the pay's the same!
Congrats!
