Backpack policy for meeting rooms
This'll be my first rally, and I am tempted to be hyper-prepared. Phone, charger, extra power cell, pens, pencils, notebooks, clipboard, snacks, extra socks... well, you get the idea
What do you suggest the rally attendees to have on their person as they travel throughout the day? I don't want to be tripping folks up over my "luggage", but my fear is that I won't have that one thing on me that I absolutely need in a pinch. Any and all comments, stories, advice welcome. Thanks!

Re: Backpack policy for meeting rooms
Hey Alan
You're way overthinking this. While you do want to bring many of those things with you, walking around with lots of stuff isn't at all needed. Most people walk around in T shirt and jeans with their smartphones and biz cards in their pockets. A notebook and pen is good. If your smart phone needs a headphone adapter, make sure to have that with you. I'm assuming here that your cell phone is your music player device. If you're worried about your phone battery dying easily, sure-- stick a charger or power pack in your pocket.
It's not like you'll be walking in the hallway and someone will walk up to you and say "Freeze!!! Play me your best song!! Now!!!".
If you come to my class, please don't change your socks in the classroom.
See you there!
Casey

HAHA no. I was referring to Alan's mention of socks in his post.

If he stays in the hotel, could he not briefly go up to the room, change socks & t-shirt, put a new layer of deodorant on, and come back down?

"You had me at 'new layer of deodorant'...!"
TBH - hadn't heard of a brand that you need to apply in layers...
is that the industrial-strength kind?!
