Instrumental Composers - Taxi Success Stories

Post by Andreuz » Fri Nov 03, 2023 8:32 am

Hello-

My name is Andreuz. I recently joined Taxi & Forum. I am a "Instrumental Composer". My goal is to someday be discovered for movie soundtrack, tv, or video.

I was wondering if there other "Instrumental Composers" that would like share their Taxi success stories ?
Also, what kind of feedback critiques to expect from the A&R team - since our compositions have no lyrics (after submitting a song to a listing) ?

Plus, we can be a little more creative since we are not following the typical song structure "verse 1, chorus, verse 2, bridge, ect".

Look forward to hearing back from you!!
Andreuz

Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean by being 'discovered', but if you want to connect with music libraries that sign instrumental tracks then Taxi can help.

Its worth having a look around on these forums and even searching if you have specific questions (many have been asked before). There are loads of instrumental composers here so if you want success stories from them just look here...

....and also here on the Taxi web site where there's 51 pages of them from members that include instrumental composers as well as song writers.

If you want to know more about structure (or just about anything else) there's another fantastic resource - Taxi TV.

Have fun! :)
Graham (UK). Still composing a little faster than decomposing, and 100% HI.

Yes, I have already submitted several of my original instrumental tracks to appropriate listings in hope of being "discovered" by the right external music library (source). The main reason I joined Taxi.
I have read thru many of the vast success stories. This particular post was focused for "Instrumental Composers" to share their personal success story right here if they choose to.

Thanks for the reply!!
