I agree. I am hoping that the foundation is enough to garner interest and that a real singer, players, and production will help to sustain the interest/variety longer.XrashGates wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 4:12 pmMy knowhow of Americana is zip but nevertheless a really great track
just a tad on the long side for my liking
gets a bit weary about 3/4 of the way through
but other then that, kinda cool
Thanks for the affirming portion of the feedback too.

The one thing I do like about my voice is . . . I can tell that I mean it. So, there's that.XrashGates wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 1:29 am
My 2 cents; the singing style and guitar playing suites the song perfectly. This might sound far fetched to you, but to me, something about it makes me feel it has the potential to be the next Oliver Anthony/Bob Dylan type of wake anthem, maybe even have some sort of billboard or mass appeal. Of course the only guarantee is (sorry about the pun) death and taxes and there is always 101 potential hit songs in every graveyard, even so if I was the jockey on this horse, I would keep it as is, it has a genuine kinda of quality that a pro singer might not do it justice.
Thanks for the encouragement Xrash. I'll come back and post the feedback from the listener. THIS particular listing is the absolute most excited I've ever been. I would truly love to be able to be a writer for artists. I love being able to add details and tell stories in the tracks. For the "sync" music, I have to work hard to dial back this part of my songwriting soul.

I like the edited version.
It might just be my listening environment and system but I had a lot of low end mud. I'll have to listen again on a different setup.
