Anyone can submit as long as they are a co-writer on the track. So if one of you joins, they can submit anything they collab on, The other party does not need to join for that. HTH.

On a serious note, can you elaborate on the "what" and "why" for what you are asking?
well, we were looking to collaborate as a team . do you need a joint account to submit collaboration works?

I did my time at Taxi as a joint venture with my buddy / co-writer and we just split everything 50-50 including the membership , submission fees and copyrights.

You have to know and trust someone pretty well but we go way back to infant school had already been writing and produccing together for 25+ yrs

You do not need a joint account at all. As long as one person involved with the work is a Taxi member, they can submit the song. Collaborator info matters to the libraries though, so make sure that any cowriters are with a PRO, and be sure that if a library contacts you about your music that you have all of the necessary info that the library will need if they want to sign your music. Stuff like PRO number, full name, physical address, etc. Be clear with the library that there are cowriters, the library will have procedures to handle that.
