Not sure what genre but will comment anyway. It has a lot of different musical themes/moods. In the world of sync, this could probably be dissected/ reworked and made into several different instrumentals/cues IMO. To be used as is in sync, probably unlikely because of the length / different moods throughout. For an artist release, it’s a unique track with a lot of mood and energy. Interesting to listen to IMO.

It's in the rock genre, probably progressive rock. But Garrett makes the important points, assuming you are targeting this for sync. It runs way too long and needs more consistency. The part from around 1:16-1:39 sounds like a different cue altogether. If for sync, I'd get it down to around 2:30 using the best of it to keep it building and interesting.
