Hey friends,
So I've been working on a collaboration that another taxi member wrote, and it's been a lot of fun. I think we've got a really good basis here, but could use some feedback. It's by no means finished.

I really like the sarcastic and somewhat droning vocals, which kind of fits with the punk vibe, but I'm kind of torn on what to do vocally... as I don't think it's pro enough to get the grade. Do you think vocals LIKE this works well for the song, and maybe it just needs to be smoothed out and tighter? Or extra vocals on top of it?
And musically, how does it sound otherwise? The mix and master is by no means finalized, but what do you think of the elements, and the song structure in general? Is the climax at the end of the song satisfying?
Thanks for any thoughts you can help with,
-Jonathan

I remember the draft. I like how it's coming out. I think the vocal style works.
A slightly louder vocal level might be better, especially the backing vocals late in the song (those seem cool, but hard to hear).
You might add some adlibs and countermelodies, over, around and/or between the main vocal, like ho-ho-ho, jolly-jolly, cheer-cheer-cheer, whatever. Just to break the somewhat droning vocals up a bit.
