Got a forward? Wanna brag about it? Post it up.

Thanks Alan- I appreciate your thoughts! I guess that I am just not a very good "genre" person...
FWIW, I see the success you have with forwards and can say you definitely do know quite a bit and are very good at what you know
veering from the listing isn't the end of the world, not even the end of the cue... pitch them directly to the libs you have established relationships with.

Thanks Alan.... I just want to be able to create for multiple genres, and not just be pigeonholed into rock, blues, etc. But that said, it is becoming readily apparent to me that it takes quite some time to figure out things like strings articulations, what is a great trombone sound, synths, and most importantly, what is "period appropriate," etc etc... I am beginning to shy away from those type of listings until I have a better understanding of this stuff. Mark just posted an old track of his that is Depeche Mode vibe, and a really good one at that... I couldn't figure out what 80's synth and drum machine to use in a million years! But I am going to figure it out!

All three are fun tracks for sure, I think Boogie Fondue is the closest to the Disco feel. But I too agree re: the horns (horn player here). The second track seemed more like a bed/underscore mix most of the time, needs more melody. (that solid sausage .wave form cracked me up as well... to hell with dynamics, MORE LUFS!). :) Also, for the classic Disco sound you need some unison strings playing melodies or counterpoint.

Good effort, trust me, I understand the frustration of returns for tracks that you put tons of work into and feel nailed the genre. Been there done that many times. Keep working!

Hi Brad, agree with people here.
Great inputs from everybody.
Solid funk tracks but I think they are too powerful for a 70s songs, drums are too strong and some parts of the horn sessions sounds not natural.
I know it's a pain in the ass to go back to the tracks after receive a return but they are good enough to have a rework and try a different library.
Keep the good work up!
