Just a question about those listings like the one below that are more frequent lately.

When they say: "Because the scene is already edited, matching (or being close to) the tempo of the reference is strongly recommended."
In this case do they really need songS or just ONE song that will match the scene?
I believe the chances of being accepted in this cases are even shorter.
Is that right?

In the end, only one song will be chosen by the film producer. But they want a bunch of songs as candidates to try.
If you get the forward but your song is not chosen for the film, all is not completely lost. It's not unusual for a film producer or music supervisor to hold on to songs they might be able to use later on in other projects. Also, you may end up with a song you can pitch to other listings, libraries, etc.
