Still lots of things to fix in the mix but before I go any deeper, am I going in the right direction for this listing?

Sounds good to me at first glance/listen.
Maybe it could stomach more edit points? Don't know though
Cheers Mate and happy producing

Re: HIP-HOP DRAMEDY/COMEDY INSTRUMENTALS
Yeah, I don't know Andre... First, the pizz. strings sound just a bit too big, too wet.. something.. They're not quite sitting right for me - maybe it's just the mix... But more importantly, there's this bit from the listing:
They need a fusion of credible hip-hop beats and some awkward/quirky sounds, which has traditionally been with pizzicato strings... but we’re also looking to evolve this sound with fresh ideas and interpretations that give the same overall feel.
So, I'm not sure they're looking for something this straight up...
Also, I'm not sure if the sinister horns work. I like the gesture, but whether they work for comedy is where I'm hung up.. They could certainly work in the right situation, but I'm not quite sold on it...
I wish you the best with it.

Re: HIP-HOP DRAMEDY/COMEDY INSTRUMENTALS
Thanks guys.
Yes, I tried minimalist approach with 2 different sections.
Agree with the reverb on strings, I tried different libraries and all pizzicatos that I have sounds too wet.
But not sure if the pizzicato is the way (although some references have pizzicatos) as they looking for fresh ideas.
In regards the edit points, they usually use just a few seconds for each scene so maybe some breaks will help (or not:)
The horns sounds cool, but will they fit the scene?
It's always a guess. Anyway let's keep trying!
Thanks again!
