The morale of the story here Ladies and Gentlemen is whenever seeking helpful career advice in the music industry

Watching last weeks Taxi TV where Micheal was doing one of his pitches for his Taxi Road Rally

Micheal keeps saying how warm and friendly everyone is at the Road Rally and how they DON"T say your music suck, which sounds so inviting

But then re-reading the response and tone to my request for feedback for my tracks

I am thinking to myself, is Micheal over-hyping his pitch. Are these really the same warm and friendly people that go to the Road Rally and sit on this forum saying I DO suck.

In hindsight my impression now is they're acting more like butthurt ass-wholes and their feedback lacks sincerity for the purpose of helping my development as a songwriter.

Ok I get they're free to say what they like and they don't need to like me or what I do or what I post or owe me any courtesy for anything. Nothing new there and all good to me, and a credit plus for any kind of response even if it is just ugly, but I certainly never felt any air of warmth and friendliness on this forum.

And now I am wondering if this is how I would feel at a road rally too? Cause the last thing I want to do, is travel half way around the globe to be in the same room with a bunch of people, that for a lack of better words, dis your music and hate your guts.
