PSYCHEDELIC '60s ROCK SONGS with Male or Female vocals are needed URGENTLY by a very active and fast-growing Music Licensing Company that specializes in music for BIG TV Commercials.

This client is looking for Mid-To-Up-Tempo Songs that could fit in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references they sent us:

"White Room" by Cream

"Somebody to Love" by Jefferson Airplane

"California Dreamin'" by The Mamas & the Papas

"Strawberry Fields Forever" by The Beatles

QUOTING THE COMPANY: "We are looking for authentic-sounding '60s Songs with a Trippy/60's psychedelic sound in the style of the references."

IMPORTANT NOTE: This Company is looking for AUTHENTIC-SOUNDING '60s Rock! You can submit recently recorded/produced Songs if they sound like they are actually from the '60s, OR if you have high-quality vintage recordings, they would love to hear those as well!

Please submit well-crafted Rock Songs with an authentic '60s sound and a psychedelic vibe! Early Rock guitar tones, throwback drum grooves, trippy motifs, memorable melodies, solid arrangements, catchy choruses, and well-crafted lyrics are all needed. '60s Rock instrumentation in the general wheelhouse of the reference Songs will work best for this opportunity (think guitars, drums, bass, tambourine, etc). If you choose to use any virtual instruments, please make sure they are high-quality, realistic, and era-appropriate. Your productions need to sound authentically '60s, and please be sure your vocal performances are compelling and well-performed!

Please be sure not to go overboard with the psychedelic aspect. Anything that is too abstract or that veers off into experimental territory won't work here.

Lyrics that avoid references to specific names, dates, times, brands, places, and profanity could make your Songs more appealing for sync placements. Do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for texture, tone, and overall vibe. Era-appropriate Broadcast quality is needed.

This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 split. You’ll split all upfront sync fees 50/50. You'll get 100% of the Writer's share. The Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share. You’ll keep 100% of the original copyright. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this pitch. Please submit as many Songs as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened by TAXI. NO DEADLINE EXTENSIONS for this request. Sorry folks, but we're on an extremely tight deadline, so please don't even ask! Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024. TAXI # S240423RK

XLNT 'time capsule' pieces, Casey & Co.
The first one took me to Jefferson Airplane & Grace Slick; or Alanis Morissette - for your 'younger crowd' 8-) :? of whom I know next to nothing - her name just jumped at me.
the 2nd one took me to Graham Nash.
CONGRATS - both are great & 'anthemic'.
