If you end the existing agreement then nobody will be working to get those songs placed. The Taxi submission opportunity might seem appropriate but that doesn't mean you'll automatically get a forward followed by another offer from a publisher. It could take months/years to get those same songs under contract plus another wait until they get placed.

On the other hand, if you're absolutely confident that those songs are fantastic, still sound current, and are sure to be signed up right away by a great publisher then it might be worth it taking a chance to step up. Personally, and as others have said, I would leave them where they are and write some more.
Graham (UK). Still composing a little faster than decomposing, and 100% HI.

Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, SOMEBODY is no longer with us, so I apologize for the delayed response.
First of all, let me say this. We believe in you and your music. The tracks have definitely had interest from our clients. At this point, however, we have not had the right opportunity present itself.
This reminds me so much of the standard rejection letter you get from a prospective employer. Alone with the closing blurb how they will keep your resume on file for opportunities in the future.

So I'm guessing the take home message here is that even with a reputable sales agent/ dealer/music library on your side doing your bidding, it may still take a year or so, if even ever, to find a home/buyer/user for your music?

For me, no one can deny that this whole process feels strange, and I also feel that no one dares to talk about it because the defending army is going to come out and fall on you, but that's the way it is, and it seems to work Not yet for me, but I hope that in the future something good comes out of this then I will join the army of defenders, if you know what I'm talking about, for the moment I'm cannon fodder

In the meantime of all the private emails that I have received from this post I want to say this, it was not my intention to offend anyone I was just looking for information and a good idea that they gave me is to put my link to my music in this forum so, who wants to listen to REGUEATON ROCK!!!, ha ha ha New Genre

Nuevo Genero!! Ja Ja JA!!!

Gracias TOTALES!!!!
