I never said he writes alone , I said he writes his own songs. i.e. he's not an artist that would use songs from outside songwriters

There are plenty of artists who don't write their own material and even Taxi members who have gotten artist cuts that way.

I think there would be a few people like me on this forums who would luv to hear from you everything about how some of these taxi members you're referring to, got their songs cut by major artists,

And even better your thoughts about spotting artists in need of songs and how best to market and approach them.

Personally I'm not interested in getting artists cuts but all the information is already here. You just need to do your research in the forums, on Taxi TV, Taxi Transmitter and the RR.

However, if all you can write unlistenable dogsshit then it's kinda moot.

I don't need to explain anything, I've posted in great detail my own journey so make of my opinions what you will. What I can tell is that I have listened to and analyzed thousands of reference tracks and developed a critical ear. Nothing you've posted thus far either here or that I can find online would indicate to me that your songs are anything a commercial artist would be remotely interested in IMHO.

Other opinions are available but my advice would be that if you can't sing then don't sing, and if you can't get a legit pro sounding vocalist then make instrumentals. Forget this fantasy of writing a 'billboard hit' as you don't have the skills and see if you can get into a library first. The bar is higher than you think but achievable with a moderate skillset.
