Library Forward Question
Hello,
I apologize if I have asked this question in the past...( I did search for my answer and couldn't find it.)
I wanted to make sure that I am not missing anything here...I have had several forwards in the past from last year and this year. I wanted to confirm that if a library wants your tracks then how do they contact you? I know that a forward is not a guarantee of anything.
Do they send you a note to your personal email associated with TAXI or through your TAXI profile page? Thanks!
-Phil

Re: Library Forward Question
They usually contact you directly (not through Taxi) using the contact details you gave to Taxi when you joined, and most likely via email.
If you haven't heard back yet from any of the forwards then the libraries probably don't need your tracks (it happens to everyone for a variety of reasons so don't take it to heart). Its best to move on and do what else you can with them, including pitching them to other Taxi listings or straight to libraries yourself. If any of those Taxi libraries were to reach out later you could still offer any of the tracks that remain available, but if they happen to be under contract elsewhere then offer to make some similar ones.

Graham (UK). Still composing a little faster than decomposing, and 100% HI.

Re: Library Forward Question
It could take 20-30 forwards to hear something back from one of them. Or it could be the next one. Or never.

Re: Library Forward Question
And even when a library accept your song, It will be in their catalogue with around another thousands songs...
Reality is cruel, but as long as you have fun writing songs, it's fine.
Keep rocking!
Cheers!
