From a lurker in The Peanut Gallery -
seems having MORE than enough would be better than NOT enough...
and maybe having an edit point that could do as a button ending at the 2:00 mark might work?
Good question, though - is it often that no time length is in the listing?
:? :?: 8-)

How long are the ref tracks, Andre? That might (or might not) be a clue to what they want.

Yeah Allan not sure if the length of the ref tracks would be the deciding factor cause they always usually indicate 1:30 -2:00 for Cue and 2:30-4:0 for....even if ref tracks are longer or shorter.

Any ways I will start it and see what happens.

Yeah, I kinda read it differently. I think I know the listing to which you are referring, and I think that no time requirement was listed on purpose. Michael talks about how much work they put into getting the briefs correct and it seems to me in many cases that they do an excellent job. I already submitted a few pieces to that one and one was about 3:30, and the other two were about 2 minutes each. All of them fit the "instrumentals" category versus "cues" and I don't even think cues are what they're looking for that particular listing.

So my thinking is use your best judgement. Now, we are dealing media music here, so I wouldn't submit anything with a long intro and long 64 bar solos or something...
