These tracks have to sound authentic to the 90s with an old school Hip Hop tone. Tracks produced with vintage gear like 808s, MPC 60s, SP 1200 would help make it more authentic."

NOTE: You can submit recently recorded/produced Instrumentals that authentically capture the era-appropriate sound and style of the references, OR if you have high-quality vintage recordings from the '90s, they would love to hear those as well!

Please submit a wide range of original Hip-Hop Instrumentals with an authentic '90s sound and loads of throw-back, old-school Hip-Hop energy! Era-appropriate beats, old-school motifs, and dynamic arrangements with forward motion and interest are all needed. Instrumentation that's generally consistent with the references and other Hip-Hop Songs from the '90s will work best. Authenticity is really key here, so integrating some of the classic instruments used in 90's Hip-Hop will go a long way! Please ensure that any virtual instruments or samples you use are era-appropriate and genre-appropriate.
