Dear Composers, Producers, Songwriters, and Artists,

If you’d like to jump into doing music for film, TV, and Commercials, you might be wondering, “How do I start, or where do I start?”

Both are great questions, and I’ve got the perfect person to help you figure it out!

Matt Vander Boegh is an unlikely TAXI All-Star whose music is played all over the world on a daily basis. But, like many of you reading this, Matt’s foray into earning income with his music didn’t come without some fits and starts. Mostly fits ;-)

Be patient as you watch this because we spent a chunk of time at the beginning talking about Matt’s childhood and his progression into sync music licensing. After that, we get into the “red meat” section, and trust me when I tell you—there are tons of gems in this episode! TONS!!!

By Matt’s own admission, he’s NOT a great composer, at least from a music theory or composition standpoint. He doesn’t know what a diminished chord is. He doesn’t know how to play an augmented chord. And, he sure as heck doesn’t know how to play a ninth chord!

So, how has this unlikely sync superstar done so incredibly well with his music played all over the world every single day? How was he able to walk away from his job as a college professor and become a full-time composer who is building a great financial nest egg with nothing more than his (what he might call) simplistic approach to creating music that gets used over and over and OVER again?!

He's going to tell you EVERYTHING in this episode, and I think that many of you who are just starting your sync journey will be shocked by what you’ll learn. This episode will give you some realistic hope if you’re just starting out and feeling a little intimidated by the whole thing.

Matt would be the first to tell you, “If I can do this, anybody can.” Don’t miss this episode!!!
