Feedback Request

Post by BradleyHagen » Fri Sep 05, 2025 11:08 am

Ahhhhhhhh a Rock Guitar Instrumental Listing!!! You just don;t see these very often around here....so I tapped into my 20 year old self, and went for it! Enjoy!
LISTING: Lots of ACTION-PACKED ROCK GUITAR INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a NON-EXCLUSIVE Media Company that builds and supplies in-store playlists for major Retail Brands' locations all over the world!

TAXI members who’ve signed with this Company have reported steady income and long-term success from in-store play!

This Company is on the prowl for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumentals that could be heard on a playlist with the following references:

"Surfing with the Alien" by Joe Satriani

"Welcome to Bucketheadland" by Buckethead

"Cliffs Of Dover" by Eric Johnson

Please submit well-crafted, Guitar-driven Rock Instrumentals that showcase bold, energetic, and raw power! This Company is searching for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Compositions that feature tight, memorable riffs, exciting Rock-flavored melodic hooks, engaging rhythms, and excellent guitar playing and musicianship. Arrangements should be dynamic and engaging, with a clear sense of forward motion that keeps listeners locked in. Instrumentation should be centered around the electric guitar. Please make sure any virtual instruments or samples (if used) are high-quality and genre-appropriate. Original Compositions only!

Please do NOT copy the referenced material in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.

AI ALERT: This Company can't accept or sign music that has been melodically composed using generative AI, nor will they accept backing tracks or full instrumental tracks created with AI.

This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE deal. You’ll split any income from direct licensing deals 50/50 with the company, and you will keep 100% ownership of all rights. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this opportunity, and you need to be affiliated with a Performing Rights Organization for this company to include your music in their catalog. Please submit as many Instrumentals as you'd like, online or per CD. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Friday, September 12th, 2025. TAXI # S250912UR

Great track yet again Bradley! Just a couple of thoughts with end-use in mind.
- You might give editors more of an 'in' to the track, perhaps with a simple snare flam or a drum roll, or a cliche string scrape, but something just to soften the otherwise instant start.
- Similarly, you might help editors should they want to close a scene with your track by adding a composed ending. It doesn't have to be elaborate but it ought to provide an undeniable end to the track (rather than a dead stop) and maybe signal that its coming too.
These things are discussed by Matt in his videos, and I wouldn't argue with his sage advice. As always though, best of luck to you with the track.
Like it is, and 100% HI

Hey man...it was difficult, I was going to hire out a buddy of mine and do a 50/50 split, but he was busy, so I just took matters into my own blistered, and calloused, bleeding fingertips and hands, and tapped into what I used to be able to do ... lol! It was fun being 20 years old again with a Floyd Rose guitar and just shredding..... I HIGHLY recommend it!
