Some Freebies to consider

Post by robbylane » Tue Sep 30, 2008 11:32 pm

Even though everything worthwhile tends to come with a price, there are various songwriter-creator freebies available that can aide and educate you. Here are a few. 1) Go to prosoundnews.com to sing up for their free magazine. 2) Search for Tape-Op and sign up for THEIR free magazine. Both of these are invaluable resources for learning about sound technology, recording techniques and the music business in general. And for those of you have who might not have decent recording gear, there is a really good free computer program called Audacity that is fairly easy to use if you have a computer and a microphone, or a computer interface to plug your guitar or mic into. Perhaps these items have been mentioned elsewhere in this forum in the past, but I thought it would be nice to mention anyhow.
