Wow, it's been more than a year since I started this thread! Some of you asked me about the results of this forward and this latest update might be a helpful information for forum members.

This was not picked up in its original form. The version forwarded is represented in the video link below. I have a new interested party for the song and this organization requested edits. In the audio link below the song was shortened to be closer to a more marktable length and the piano sound was changed to a brighter tone. There's no way to know whether the forwarded song would have resulted in a deal with the original listing client, but I think the revised version it now has better prospects of being used.

It is interesting to see how our opinions change about our dear creations. Things that once seemed precious and essential in my original concept I now feel comfortable changing to conform to the needs of the industry. I feel happier as a creative person now that I know what listeners want to hear. The ability to satisfy others is much more fulfilling than satisfying myself alone.
