I doubt anyone remembers but he wrote a few hit tunes back in the day......"I Go Crazy" and "65 Love Affair" and "Ride 'em Cowboy" (my least favorite of his that made the top 10). I didn't think his lyrics were incredible but they did the job and man, he could really sing the tar out of them. Really brought back some memories. I'm sorry he passed away up in Jackson, MS.
