Hey, Reuben, welcome to the boards. My cousin, Tim, has been living in Wanturna for the past 30 years. I was down under, visiting him during an extended trip to NZ and Oz about 12 years ago, and decided I'll NEVER be fully happy until I can see Oz again.Welcome, again. And start saving your pennies RIGHT NOW for next year's Road Rally. You'll never, ever regret it.No worries,Ted

Usually they are the first or second weekend of November... LAX Westin Hotel (near the airport) this past year (and four Rallys ago we were also at this same hotel). My guest from this year was from Australia (though he's currently living in LA, his brother still lives in Australia-- they are part of the music band, "BROTHER"). Hope we might see you there-- I'd make the trip at least once. It's well worth it! Maybe use frequent flyer miles or something??Raags

Quote:I notice the large majority of members are north American/Canadian... That being so if anybody intends to or is interested in touring in Australia by all means contact me and I'll put you towards the right people That was a real sweet offer-- thank you!Yeah, BROTHER is a great group of guys. Angus was at this last Rally with us-- Hamish is still in Australia. Fabulous gigs they do indeed. They got some 3000 for their River Rhythms a year ago in the summer here in Milwaukee. Not bad for the Packer State! Raags
