Jimi,Your presence at the Rally was missed. Without you the forum community wouldn't have existed. Congratulations on the imminent birth of your precious child. Let us know how that goes and post a baby pic when the time comes. Thank you for community building vision and all that work. Stay strong mamaNomi

Ditto. We were actually hoping to hear from Michael that the big moment happened while we were at the Rally. No matter. We'll be eager to see the pix. Be well, and thanks again.Ted

Thanks guys, it means a lot to hear a "thanks" rather than the usual "please move this" and "this guy smells" stuff I usually get..haha.Sorry I missed the rally, hopefully I can make it there next year (I'll be the one wearing the crown of dot and holding the dot scepter.)This community (In case you didn't know) was the #1 thing I lobbied for back in the days when I first started working with Michael and I am very proud of the members we have on here, the hard work each of you put into building it and the outcome we have achieved.I think these are the most professional, informative and POSITIVE forums on the www. But I might be slightly partial JimiPSNo baby yet..first time mama..so yep! I'm overdue! I will post pics and a birth announcement when Abram decides to make his grand entrance.

That's right, THANK YOU JIMI!! It's no exaggeration to say that this forum and community would NOT exist without you...Michael made it a point to share this with all of us (who didn't already know ) at the dot party.I think this place has become a wonderful hangout and valuable resource, for Taxi members and musicians in general...a real community...So thank you again for lobbying hard on behalf of these Taxi boards and literally founding this community. matto

This is a great group of people and the atmosphere TAXI has created here is very professional and... dare I say, for the most part peaceful?? Except Steve, of course. (just kidding, Mr Gilbert). Unlike some other places, there are very few flame mails or bad attitudes.

The forum is SO much of a part of my success with Taxi. I remember when I first heard Matto's story on the "Success" panel in the 2004 Rally, I thought "Well, he lives in LA so there's part of the reason... proximity". I didn't discount the talent aspect just that generally speaking, someone living in the heart of activity of something like LA or Nashville has access to things that those living outside those areas don't normally have.Well, the Taxi forum flattens the world so that proximity doesn't matter (i.e. Mr Martin MegaDeals from Switzerland ). I know I can submit from anywhere but there's no place in the Midwest where I can go to hear what others are doing, bounce ideas off of people, etc.Safe to say that without the Taxi forums, I might still be struggling with what's current and useful, musically speaking. So a sincere "THANKS!" from Mr Dave. Dave

I never knew Jimi started this. I remember stopping and popping in and out of a thread or two, seeing the avatar and wondering "Who's the babe posting for Michael?"Sincere thanks to you Jimi! What a wonderful gift you've given all of us. Rob

Ditto all of the above. One can Google up tons of info on the net these days, but this site, without exception is the single best repository of technical and inspirational information uniquely germane to our craft. No other musician's forum comes close. As our archives expand with information the search function will someday need to be categorized for more intuitive search labels. This already vast archive will someday be the Wikipedia of music craft. See what you got started girl. Dave, I think you meant to says this site "folds/space" rather than flattening the world Sorry, too many Dune novels bc

This is a wonderful board, no doubt about it. It's allowed me to do things I never could have dreamed of. Also, continued good wishes for Jimi's delivery and the baby.
