Uptempo Solo Jazz Piano Forwards

Post by kurtkreimier » Tue Nov 04, 2008 6:32 pm

Hello Fellow Forum Members! I have been so busy between work and putting together some new songs for the Road Rally that I have not been here lately. But after getting the news on two new forwards I had to share my happiness. I went 2 for 3 on the UPTEMPO, SOLO PIANO JAZZ INSTRUMENTALS Listing. You can check them out below. I also want to extend a BIG THANKS to those of you who took the time to listen and comment on these before I submitted them. The suggestions definitely helped. Looking forward to meeting some of you in a few days. But for now, back to work and Thanks Again!KurtForwarded - Nice Ride - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... eForwarded - Finger Dance - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ueReturned - Finger Licken - I think the left hand was a little too laid back on this one - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=true

Hi Kurt, I was rather partial to the third tune as well. I'm not sure why, but I found it a little bit "Monk-ish"; something in the timing. But for me the other two had more structural definition. Very interesting indeed was your individuality really. None of the famous players I know sound like this - and that isn't a criticism at all. We develop our own ways of phrasing and dealing with the physical problems of our instruments. Your voicing and technique was interesting and unique. Congrats. Hope there's much more to follow. Michael.

Nice work! At times I could picture Vince Guaraldi during tune #2...awesome!

I liked all 3 of these, Kurt. Very unique and stylistis -- and the third one did feel very Vince Guaraldi-ish . . . Congrats! ,Suz

Hey Thanks to all of you. Orest I saw you also had a forward on this listing with "Perhaps" which I enjoyed hearing very much. Nicely done tune with a real solid contemporary feel. I'm now off to pack for the Rally.Kurt
