They primarily focus on Film/TV licensing, advertising, video game placements, and compilation CDs. Broadcast quality is need, but excellent home recordings will work well. Please submit two to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics, bio, and photo. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than August 12, 2008. In other words, his clients are asking for the "real deal" - songs that are believable and uniquely commercial. He may be asking for instrumental versions of the tracks, if they are available. There is no limitation to lyric content, but no profanity or samples that have not been cleared! Excellent performances are absolutely necessary, as always. The lyric and melodic writing needs to be impeccable, with hooks upon hooks. Mid tempo to ballad is what's needed here, along with emotional & sweeping melodies. Male or female vocals are okay, as they'll be pitching to a variety of established artists. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. Hi Pasco - I'm fairly recent as well and I was amazed just how many people flock in and give a greeting. An enormous amount of great information in this forum. I've never known anything like it. As with the previous comments, yes Anna has a great voice and your tunes and stories are good, so you'll probably do very well on Taxi. Good luck, Michael W.
