Question on track length???

Post by gitanosoy » Sat Nov 14, 2020 10:40 am

Hi All,

When a submission for an instrumental says "All submissions should be at least 2 minutes in length" only( meaning minimum I assume) and not followed by "give or take" can it be 2:30.3:00...4:00 minutes long..?

Thank you.

2:30 is a good benchmark with this wording

I agree 2:30-ish is ideal. You'd probably be OK a bit longer (e.g. less than 3:00) since they didn't specify a max. However, longer than that, I'd do an edit and submit a shorter version.

Good luck! :D
