for playback mixing reviews only - one of each.
The PC has cheap (but very adequate) Logitech external speakers, and earbud ports;
The Mac mini is hooked up to JBL 305 professional monitors.
Your mileage may vary.

Re: Quick Survey: PC or Mac for your music
For music, I've been a Mac since introduced to MIDI recording at university back when the operating system was booted from a 5.25" floppy
They're not cheap, and have long since gone from being the 'easy' alternative to PCs, but it's what I grew up with. I do emails and shopping from a salvaged PC in the home office / spare junk room. I hate the thought of clogging up my DAW with extraneous ones and zeroes.

I'm a Mac guy, and love Logic Pro X. All of my music production is done on an Apple desktop, currently a 27" iMac. That being said, I use a laptop Windows PC for non-production work, surfing, etc. If money weren't an issue, the laptop would be a Macbook Pro.

PC just by historical accident. I worked in I.T. Support during the Windows 95 period which traumatised me to the point where I still can't reboot my PC without sweating expecting a Blue Screen of Death, but <touch wood> its a lot better these days and I just know my way around it.

Re: Quick Survey: PC or Mac for your music
For perspective - Back in the day I sold millions of ££'s worth of computers to people inc both Mac & PC systems, I don't sell computers any more but I still work in IT sales
I still have to buy Mac computers for my wife every so often, in fact I bought a new M2 Mac Mini for her back in July but much as I used to advocate for them back in the late 90's / early 2000's I hate what Apple computers have become which is hugely overpriced, non repairable, non upgradable anti consumer shiny E-waste. Back in the day they were great machines and even the high end stuff was competitively priced with their PC counterparts and I sold plenty of Mac Pro towers. The Apple Silicon finally cured their thermal issues which was a big cause of failure in their Intel machines ( try taking a 27" iMac apart and see the scorch marks ) which is why I finally bought my wife's new Mini.
So long answer long...I'm PC for the studio.
