R these lyrics 4 U?!?

Post by jakyla » Tue Feb 03, 2015 2:59 pm

.I am very comfortable and feel that I am in my element while writing; lyrics especially. I want my words to mean something to someone. My style is flexiable, very diverse and capable of covering most genres. This also allows me to create lryics for music requiring them. I'm a complete team player and can improve and complement a collaborative effort. I have built up a few dozen pieces. I have several more in various stages of development.  My goal is to build a srong and lasting relationship with a musician, producer or songwriter and create some great songs that inspire and please.I've included a few different pieces below that perhaps illustrate who I am from a lyric point of view

I have other lyrics posted on the Lyric Lovers & Collaboration Corner under the name jakyla
I can be reached here or at jakyla@northrock.bm

                          Lololi
Somehow they think we love too much,
pockets filled with stupid dreams,
someone said we shared too much, (cared)
fogged your mind with meaningless things (shemes).
Wish you were me n I was you,
Let you feel my words are true

I walked up and  knocked on heavens door,
they say you don't live here anymore.
I ran and banged on gods own gate,
he said wait and then contemplate.
What do you call a dream that wont come true,
Baby, I call it me without you.

Angels drift down and accumulate,
no one frowns in this part of town,
I feel a dollar short and a day too late.
Gazing upon by heavenly eyes,
the rain burns as I begin to cry
I whisper please then bend my knees.

Inside my hidden spaces,
right beside your secret places, (next to)
Just Bits of me and Pieces of you.
This is where our dreams come true,
Baby they have to,
Cause I can't do me without you

                          Strong Likker
                                (One)
You preach devotion as a wasted, tasteless emotion,
Everything seems to bend to your command,
men drown reaching for the bottom of your ocean,
You speak a language I can comprehend.
Your dark and stormy taste they never forget
How come they stay then pray you'll fade away?

                             (Chorus)
You have more friends than a beach has sand,
Are you strong likker or they weak men.
Tell me what ya thinking i'll tell you what ya drinking,
(You're a good kisser but no fine-@$$ likker)
I am the drug, you are my shaky addict,
I'll drench you with the sweaty words I write,
you'll desire me morning, noon, and night.

                              (Two)
You leave 'em indosposed on the side of the road,
discarded like stale big-macs and broken toys,
I'm all man, say bye bye to ya little boys.
Looking for things you did not plan to find,
that dream you thought wouldn't come true,
I have the other shoe and I know what to do.

                          (Chorus)
You have more friends than a beach has sand,
Are you strong likker or they weak men.
Tell me what ya thinking I'll tell you what ya drinking.
(You're a good kisser but no fine-@$$ likker)
I am the drug, you are my shaky addict,
I'll drench you with the sweaty words I write,
you'll desire me morning, noon, and night.

                            (Three)
This is not magic, you won't find no cure,
mystery man you can't understand,
the Warden dangling the key to your door .
This new, improved, mind altering taste,
I've become Sultan of your seductive space.
Capitulate and you gets to stay, Obey, or just go away
