Quote:Quote:I especially like 2 & 3, and #2 gets my vote for matching the requirements of the listing & having a lovely melody, and feeling natural & clean.Ms. Bird,I've been following your music since " Send Me a Man" (way back when) and I have to say that your more recent music has taken on a solid, more contemporary sound. Confident and clear. Not that you've abandoned your, free to be me, experimental soundscapes for the popular "in sound" , but it's obvious that your commercial production has come a long way, very "a la la " musically. Well done!!! And congrats on the forwards. Now concerning your 3 demos... I think all 3 sound fresh and clean to me. Fingers crossed. cheers,Ran Hey - thanks for the compliments. I'll take them!!! But the samples listed in that post are from "songwriter" - I agree, they are very good, especially #2!My submission was "Bulles de Salon" and you can find it at..http://www.taxi.com/vikkiflawithcheersHummin'bird

Re: Anyone want to share commercial clips?
Quote:I wonder how many entered this listing...just wonderin` out loud...This may fall apart but we'll try a little "comparison" logic here. Sometime ago I submitted music for a listing (outside of Taxi) that was looking for a composer to do a film score for a low-budget (but well done) feature film (so about an hour of music) for $2000. Like this listing, it was advertised in several places. I somehow made it down to the final three and was told that the total number of submissions was originally something like five or six hundred. Now take that and compare to a $20,000 fee for thirty seconds of music and listing in more places than the example above. I'd guess that the number of submissions will be in the thousands.

I concur with Vikki and also with Songwriter... your sound is REALLY good. Generally speaking, what kind of setup accounts for that ? (in addition to you obviously having been around the block a few times )
