recording guitar

Just a note here to those who do any guitar recording. I recently acquired an Evans amp, and it is so clean!http://evansamps.com/http://evansamps.c ... 585px.jpgI got the RE200 (10" spkr/200 watts). It is all solid state. It has a preamp line out, headphone jack, ext. spkr jack, effects send and return and other features. But the amazing thing about this amp is its cleanliness. If you need super clean guitar tracks I'd recommend one of these amps. My archtops sound fantastic through it. I've used it on a few gigs so far and it sounds great that way too. If you want heavy distortion or sustain look elsewhere. But here is where you'll find close to the top of the pyramid for clean tones for jazz, background, chords, comping, full spectrum melody clarity, etc.It also has chorus and flange built-in with dwell adjustment. Plus small and light weight too. Expensive, (> $1K) but worth it.
