And I'd have to think that a reasonable counterargument regarding the 60k songs uploaded to the world every day, what has a better shot, someone who sounds like everyone else (and fits in) or someone who sounds different from it all (assuming it doesn't suck )

And funny while I hear folks here talking about sounding modern, and I totally get it, my next song is, well, IDK, different than anything I've ever heard. Not that I've heard a lot.
