I have a hard time dumbing down guitar parts any more than what was recorded here! lol

Not a comment about your track - other posts have covered it.

Just this idea that something like the White Stripes Seven Nations Army is dumbing it down.

It's definitely not "dumb" - it is about distilling things down to what only what is necessary to make it sound great.

It's probably the hardest thing to do in music in any genre.

Yeah....Poor choice of words. Maybe "simplify" is a better choice....I rather liked trying to create this track, and will certainly try again on the next one after hearing such great feedback from the group- Thanks to all!
