REVISED "Grab Hold" (percussion action cue)

PERCUSSION-Based INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a hard-working Music Library that’s always landing placements in TV Shows, Film projects, and Movie Trailers!

They’re looking for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumental Cues that could fit in the general stylistic wheelhouse of the references they gave us below:

"Hegemony" by Mattia Turzo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubh9E8F ... e=youtu.be

"Sinister" by Mattia Turzo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpPrkyI ... e=youtu.be

"Secession" by Mattia Turzo

Send them bombastic, well-composed Instrumental Cues that primarily revolve around percussive instrumentation. Craft your submissions around a singular motif and mood and layer instruments and sounds in and out to create a sense of forward movement and dynamics. The software sounds or samples you utilize should NOT sound dated, obviously quantized, or MIDI-driven. If you could imagine your Cues in a trailer for a blockbuster action movie, you could be on the right track!

TAXI Tip: Some sound-design elements like risers, crashes, bangs, etc. might add some additional intrigue to your tracks – just don't overdo it!

Submissions should be between 45 and 90 seconds long, give or take. Non-faded, Stinger endings will work best. Please do NOT copy the referenced examples in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast quality is needed.

This Library offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 Deal. You’ll get 50% of any sync fees and 100% of the Writer’s share. The Publisher will get 50% of sync fees and 100% of the Publisher’s Share. You’ll keep 100% of the original copyright and master recording. You must own or control the Master and Copyright to submit to this pitch. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. Time permitting, someone from the Publishing Company may screen some or all of the submissions. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Tuesday, September 29th, 2020. TAXI # S200929PC

yeah much better, like the additional horns and synth : ) although that initial scratch sound could do with a bit of smoothing but otherwise great job
Thanks for checkin' back in. I like it better, now, too. Which "scratch" sound are you referring to? There are 3 or 4 different sounds that I used in the first part of the piece. Is that where you mean?

Thanks,

JD
