Rock Musician Looking for Electronic Musician for Collab

Post by regardner » Tue Dec 14, 2021 9:39 am

I'm a--mostly--rock guitarist, composer, songwriter, singer looking for someone who is strong in the area of electronic music to collaborate on this Taxi listing and others like it:

Lots of RHYTHMIC ALT-ROCK INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a great Publisher with an awesome track record of really big placements in TV Commercials!

NOTE: We previously ran this request as TAXI Dispatch Listing #D211109AR, but the Publisher didn't find what they were looking for. If you submitted to listing #D211109AR, please send different material this time around.

This Publisher is looking for a bunch of Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumentals that could fit stylistically on a playlist with the following examples:

"BOOM" by X Ambassadors

"A Good Song Never Dies" by SAINT MOTEL

"Dangerous" by Big Data feat. Joywave

Although the references have vocals, please submit Instrumentals only for this pitch. Some non-lyrical vocals like "ahs," "woahs," etc. are okay to include – just don't overdo them!

Please send modern Alt-Rock Instrumentals with engaging rhythms and catchy motifs/riffs. Instrumentation that's generally similar to the references will suit your submissions best – think driving bass lines, solid drums, cool guitar riffs, and maybe a touch of synths. Please be sure that your production and any virtual instruments or samples you use are slick, modern, and high-quality.

Submissions should be about 2 minutes long, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best for this pitch. Do NOT copy the referenced material in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

The specific deal points will be handled on a case-by-case basis. You must own or control your Master and Composition to submit to this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumentals as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened by TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PST) on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022. TAXI # S220104NS

Thanks,
Bob

Bob

Listened to your song and the others on your website. I'd be interested in looking at a collab if you think it could be a good fit. I'll PM you.
