"Round Type Vocal"?

Post by tuite » Tue Feb 12, 2008 4:52 pm

I got a critique done on a song I wrote and the screener said there could be a "round" type vocal in the chorus out. Anyone got any idea what a "round" type vocal is?Cheers,Colm.

Did they quote the lyric there? Could they be talking about the tone or an echo in the chorus? Hard to tell from here without reading the critique.

Like Paults said . . . "rounds" are usually the row, row, row your boat thing. when I think of call & answer I think of different lyrics (in the answer) whereas singing "in the round" involves the same lyric.

"It sounds like there could be 'round' type vocal part on the chorus out-there seems to be something similar here already."This is an excerpt from my critique, I`m not sure what he means by this sentence? Does he want "round" vocal, does he want me to get rid of "round" vocal?
