Second Forward today > ORGANIC-Based TENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUE

Post by andersenstorm » Fri Aug 27, 2021 12:47 am

I'm happy to say that I got a second forward today. This time for an ORGANIC-Based TENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUE.
I'd like your comments, and I'd like to collaborate if you'd like my work.

From the listing:
Quoting the Library: "We'd like to hear tense and building cues made with organic sounds. Oftentimes, these types of Cues feature strings (staccato, pizzicato, etc.) as they work great for tense moods. That said, while strings-only tracks are fine, we're also very interested in Cues with a wider range of organic instrumentation, so add your own touch to it. For example, a Cue could start with small wood percussion or piano patterns, etc, and strings could join later as a supportive element. The tracks also need to be background-friendly. The references are great examples in this regard: They sound full and warm, yet they don't have all those nasty mid frequencies that strings naturally have – they're all filtered out during mixing. Dynamic EQs, multiband compressors, using different reverbs, etc. are very handy techniques to reach this goal."

NOTE: This company has a strong preference for composers who understand music licensing companies and how typical music library deals are structured. If that's not you, they politely ask that you don't submit to this request. Also, if you're an experienced producer that can deliver the goods in this genre, they're especially interested in hearing what you can do!

Thank you! It was:
This gets a little big and orchestral towards the end, and there are a lot of arco and legato strings, but I think it can still work.
Well, that's true and I am hopeful.
