(Second) New Song..."Mountain Train"

Post by tedsingingfox » Sat Apr 05, 2008 6:22 am

OK, here is the 2nd one we finished.Although I've asked Don (friend/engineer) to clean up the intro. Those sandpaper blocks were a fun idea, but they serve no real purpose -not to my ears, anyway. They're striking me as gimmicky and therefore distracting.Other than that, I think this is a blast. And, once again, not one single of note of MIDI-generated sound. Talk to me.Thanks, y'all.TedMountain Trainhttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=118175&stream=1

OH BOY, do I appreciate your "moonshine" statement. That's exactly the feel/mood/atmosphere I was aiming for...Thanks, Billy.

Great picking here Ted. Especially like the dobro/slide guitar. Outstanding playing. But I agree with you on the sand paper blocks.Derek

We couldn't, so then we just tried to find a jug. Crap. But really appreciate the comment, cause a jug would've been great. Thanks, Rayzer.
