Lots of SENTIMENTAL PIANO INSTRUMENTALS and/or INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by an International Music Library with lots of great placements in Film and TV.
This Library is on the lookout for several Instrumentals (or Cues) in the general stylistic wheelhouse of the following references:
Undercover Boss (from 0:47 - 1:10)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tv1aj9TeGSY&t=41s
Undercover Boss (from 2:26 - 2:45)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Y_Xx527yQ4&t=146s
Undercover Boss (from 0:30 - 0:57)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjIjfvjueAU&t=25s
Undercover Boss (from 3:17 - 3:59)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Snpf5aNABsI&t=197s
MasterChef (from 0:40 - 1:14)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_aKGIW9Ycg&t=40s
Send them top-notch Piano Instrumentals (or Cues) that convey an overall sentimental vibe and feel that could pull at viewers heartstrings during an emotional scene in a reality TV show like Undercover Boss. Captivating motifs paired with compelling piano arrangements in the general ballpark of the references will work best for this request. Some minimal additional instrumentation (like pads or strings) could work, as well. Craft your pieces around a central motif and layer instrumentation in and out as they progress to create a sense of dynamics, forward motion, and interest. Please be sure your production and any virtual sounds or samples you use are polished and high-quality, as well.
Your submissions should be roughly 90 Seconds long for Cues, and about 2 to 4 minutes long for Instrumentals, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced music in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Do not submit any material with unauthorized samples of other artists’ Songs, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.
TAXI Tip: This Library is looking for a LOT of material in this genre, so if this style is your forte, go ahead and submit multiple pieces to this listing!
This company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal, so please be sure the Instrumentals or Cues you pitch for this opportunity are NOT already signed with any other Companies or Catalogs. Any sync fees will be split 50/50 with the Company. You'll get 100% of the Writer's share, and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher's share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit. Please submit as many Instrumentals or Cues as you'd like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PST) on Monday, February 6th, 2023. TAXI # S230206NT

Re: "Seems Like Only Yesterday" Sentimental Piano (Pad and Strings)
This is pretty and emotional. One of the tough things about this listing is that the references are under dialogue, and short, making it hard to create a full piece based on the expectations. One thing common across all four references is that they start out very gently or sparse. The beginning of your track sounds more like the middle or end of what they are looking for. It also seems a little busy compared to the references... slow down a bit and include some more space.
From a performance perspective, the sustain pedal is a little over used. For example, at 0:29 the bass note moves from F up to Bb, but the sustain pedal is pressed, so all of the notes blend into each other creating sonic mud. Same thing happens at 1:43. I also noticed is a wrong note/fat finger at 1:52. The string patch is a little rough and could use some better mixing, and the actual performance of the strings is sloppy at times. These little details all add up.
Hope this is helpful.
