Singer/Songwriter Love Song

Post by FMstereo » Fri Jun 15, 2018 3:30 pm

Scott Free and I got a forward for our song, If Your Heart's With Me!

Thanks to Adriana Lycette who did the beautiful vocal for us.

SINGER/SONGWRITER LOVE SONGS with Female Vocals are needed for an (up to) $5,000, Non-Exclusive, Direct-to-Music-Supervisor placement in a Feature Film. They’re looking to find Mid-Tempo Songs in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references:
“Fallin' For You” by Colbie Caillat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPCRbuL4Oh8
“Lottery” by Jade Bird: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRkXjtMqN0o
“Just A Crush” by Grace VanderWaal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-qosJQtp5E
Give them compelling, well-crafted songs that can emotionally connect with an audience. A simple acoustic-based performance with guitar or piano and vocals is ok, but they DO NOT want anything that’s too slow. Your song should have a really well performed and emotionally captivating vocal if you’d like to have a good shot at this awesome placement.
LYRIC Tip: They’re looking for lyrics about love lost or found and/or unconditional love. Please avoid lyrics about cheating, as they will not work for this request! Lyrics that don’t have specific names, places, dates, times, brands, or profanity could make your song more appealing and usable to this Music Supervisor.
Do NOT copy the referenced acts or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, tone, and vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.
The estimated license fee for this use is (up-to) $5,000, depending on the ultimate placement. This is a Non-exclusive, Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you’ll keep 100% ownership of your Master and Composition rights, plus you’ll also get 100% of the sync fee and any applicable performance royalties You must own or control 100% of the Master and Copyright to submit to this pitch. Please submit as many Songs as you’d like, online or on CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis – Short critiques only. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Tuesday, June 12th, 2018. TAXI #Y180612SS

Congrats Scott and FM! I can see that this song in a feature film would work really well..credits rolling ...people crying...happy ending :) Perfect!
