Lovely track - congratulations on the forward!

You had asked about being efficient working from home. Sounds like you're doing a great job already!

What I've found most helpful is maybe kind of obvious: get to know your equipment - hardware, software, etc. I write and produce a lot of instrumentals, and the more proficient I get with my virtual instruments and my DAW (Cubase in my case) then the faster the whole process goes.

I occasionally record vocals (although they don't sound ANYTHING like yours!) and even got a forward with some Gregorian chant, but mostly it's instrumental. I've found a lot of online tutorials to be very useful, especially on mixing and mastering. I have a lot of experience performing and writing music, but not so much on the technical end.

If you have any specific questions about production, feel free to DM me and I'll certainly do what I can to help.

Best of luck with your music!

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your reply - it's most helpful. And thanks for the offer of advice - we may well be in touch with you as we would be the same as yourself - lots of experience performing but not as much on the technical side of things!

Warmest regards from Ireland,
