software to find pops and clicks

Post by CarlParadise » Thu Jul 07, 2022 8:48 pm

Has anyone come across software that can find pops and clicks in an audio file?

I know about a feature in Audacity that sometimes will remove them

But I'm trying to make sure they don't creep into my final mix or self made master (Izotope or Logic).

Izotope RX10 now. It's usually cheaper to find this in a bundle and Black Friday's coming up!! Try to get Ozone10 while you're at it. That's what's made the biggest difference in getting a professional sounding result for me.

Thanks, I've not upgraded yet, but I used RX as recommended, and it did find and destroy many clicks!

I've been using Ozone for test masters and am very impressed.
