Solo Piano Forward!
Yay! I finally got a forward for something other than Epic, Dramatic Action. See, I can do some mean piano too.
I was a little surprised this one made it through because I thought it might be a tad too busy. But happy to see that it did!

HOPEFUL, SOLO PIANO INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by an A-List, MAJOR Music Library with a decades-long list of killer placements in Feature Films, Hit TV Shows, and big TV Commercials. They’re on the hunt for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Solo Piano Cues in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references: “Inspirational Piano” by Olexandr Ignatov: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB4SvxKgpAU Inspirational Piano Music - Dare to Dream Big: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NnUlP2YLBw Although the references above have addition instrumentation, this pitch is for Solo Piano Instrumental Cues only. Please give them well-performed, well-recorded, Solo Piano Instrumental Cues that are emotionally uplifting, and so full of hope that you want to run outside and yell, “I love my life!” We may have exaggerated a bit, but you get the idea, right? Your submissions should have solid musicianship and an inspiring feeling. They’re not looking for virtuosity as much as they are an uplifting, hopeful emotional vibe. Pieces that are complex or show-y could be a turn-off! These pieces will generally be used to underscore an emotion and not be the “star” of a scene. It’s also a negative if they’d fight or distract from dialogue! If you’re using a Virtual Piano, please make sure your patches sound like an authentic Piano! Anything that sounds synthetic, stiff, or MIDI-based won’t work for this request. All submissions should be about 2:00 in length (give or take), with non-faded, buttoned endings. Do NOT copy the references in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This Company offers an EXCLUSIVE 50/50 deal, so please be sure the Instrumentals you pitch for this listing are NOT already signed with any other Libraries or Catalogs. You’ll get 100% of the Writer’s share, and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis – Short Critiques only. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PST), on Sunday, February 25th, 2018. TAXI #D180225HP
