Some groovy new placements this year
Hey gang;
Here are a few recent placements I've had in the past 6 months (sorry I've been lazy about reporting my deals!):
-- Toon Town Tango was licensed for use in "Mykidpad," a short film (USA) about a new kids's product
-- Media Sport d.o.o (Ljubljana, Slovenia) licensed "Cuppa Joe" for the animated parts of the Children's TV show "Zogarija".
http://www.zogarija.si/
-- Joy 94.9 Radio Station (Melbourne, Australia) licensed my "Global News Theme" for use on a Radio News segment.
-- Otmquilting.com licensed my version of "Simple Gifts" for their web site.
http://otmquilting.com/
-- Pulse Films licensed my "Sports Rally - Charge! (Organ Version)" for use in a YouTube TV Show called Kp East Coast.
-- My tune "Alien Abduction" was licensed for use in "Take a Stand/ The Face of the New Resistance" a student video Public service announcement about bullying
-- Hugo Guerreiro (Venezuela) licensed my Game Show Theme 4 for use in "Falling Diamonds".
-- Vitryna Studio Wojciech Wojtczak (Poland) licensed my "Femme Fatale" Theme (this has been my most placed song!) for use in a web project "Kostar." (Intimate Apparel company?)
-- P.I. Creations, LLC (SLC, UT, USA) licensed my "Hail to the Chief - Quirky Style" for use in a Facebook Game and App for mobile devices.
-- The Today Show (NBC) used my and Vicki Hannah Lein's song "Menopause" for one of their shows about -- yep, Menopause. How convenient that we just happened to have a song on that subject.
-- MajicStudiosOnline.com (a division of Celeste Studios (Flanders, NJ) licensed my version of Row Row Row Your Boat (Ensemble version) for use in a children's DVD project titled "Brush Your Teeth."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-arx_OTIz0
-- Draw Limited (Norway) licensed my version of Drunken Sailor for use in the internet flash game "Skattejakten"
-- Davis Health System (Elkins, W. Virginia) licensed my version of Brahms Lullaby (Cradle Song) for playing live in hospital upon the birth of a child.
-- Zondervan (Grand Rapids, MI) licensed my Go Down, Moses, Sadly for use in "I See the Rhythm of the Gospel". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HytDmK4Z3Mc
-- Marcus Sporkmann (L.A. or DE) licensed my Fur Elise - Jazz Scat Style for use in the Goethe-Institut Bonn Image Clip web site.
http://www.goethe.de/uun/ang/awp/enindex.htm
--> and my favorite placement (because I'm dying to know what the heck the video's going to be like!!):
-- NSW Nurses Association (Coffs Harbour, NSW) licensed "Yellow Jello" (by me, Craig Farrell and D. Johnson) for use in a Nurses Association Short Film Festival 2012. (Here's a link to the track: http://soundcloud.com/suzdoylemusic/yellow-jello )
All of these placements are a result of a single song forwarded and signed in Mar 2007 to a production music library. Yippee Skippee! Thanks, Taxi! You rock! (And I'll get better at reporting my placements in a timely manner!)
