I'm not sure if this is the best section to ask this but...
What is the best way to deal with song titles for different versions of the same song?
So for example, I submit a song to a listing and the song is 2 minutes long.
A month later, another similar listing comes along, but this time the song needs to be under 1 minute.
So I create the shorter version and submit that.
Should it have a completely different title?
Or some version of the original title?
Thanks!

Re: Song Titles for Different Versions of the same song
You could retain the original title and append in parenthesis the type of variation. For example, "Smilies and Emojs (60)" for the 60 second version. This might be an approach if you want to sign the song exclusively. If you are signing the track non-exclusively, you could try naming the track relevant to the specific listing. So, in that case, you might call it, "Fast Track", leaving off the length, and treating it as its own "work".

Re: Song Titles for Different Versions of the same song
There's one song I've had a lot of Forwards for and there are two versions so this is how I've been listing it:
THIS WORLD OF YOURS (Female singer version)
THIS WORLD OF YOURS (Male singer version).
--Linda
THIS WORLD OF YOURS (Female singer version)
THIS WORLD OF YOURS (Male singer version).
