Well, its a powerful metaphor and hook. If the lyrics are the problem for the screener, perhaps they have some inside knowledge on the client that precludes overt or overly strong positions, political, religious, culture wars etc. However, the song that immediately comes to mind is God Will (but I won't) by Lyle Lovett. And the dark country genre has a thousand The Devil's in Town songs and nearly every Johnny Cash tune so, yeah, righteous track, Susan. Love it.
